I want one. Do you have to leave the exhaust system out though? His car sounds like craparama.

At the time of the video he had a bad exhaust leak and had just finished the swap. He still needs to rework the clutch, fix the exhaust leak, tune the computer and install a remote shifter.

So what you mean is it's a video of a T45 half installed into a vic:P

Regardless of what I said and what anybody says - that is bad-ass (oooh, can I say that word on THIS site?) It took immense talent to put a manual in the car and he is definitely onto something. The Marauder would be killer with a 5 or 6 speed.

It seemed really uncomfortable shifting, Like the stick was placed too far away or something.

I think a 5spd would suffice in an N/A MM. Perhaps a 6spd would be better for a blown MM.

Now this is a project that I would not mind doing.

There have been more than a few unsuccessful attempts at making this swap, going way back to Navchap's early efforts. I applaud this group's abilities and hope for a good outcome. My understanding is, that this swap is a virtual minefield, and it's good to see someone able to do it.

Before he got his bullet proof tranny done - he was under the impression a 6 speed was impossible. He found out shortly after process was not as bad or impossible as initially thought.

Oh well - Next time around ;)
