I need some tire warranty advise for my wife's car. She has a 2006 Ford Freestyle with about 15,000 miles. The tires are cupped bad and howl at just about any speed. They are Continental ContiTouring Contact. I rotated them and about 12,000 miles. We're taking it in on Tuesday for a recall and some other minor issues. I know there is not a chance in hell of getting them replaced under warranty, but I thought I'd ask here first for any advise or suggestions when I talk to the service writer. Thanks, Curt.

If Ford won't do anything then contact the manufacturer.

You should rotate tires every 6,000 miles

Have to agree (every 2nd oil change), especially with fwd cars. They drag the rear wheels around corners, and I have been told is usually the reason for cupping.

1st,you have not rotated them enough to get any consideration
2nd,these tires and Freestyles are famous for this...everyone has the same problem
3rd you don't want them anyhow..they suck...the best thing that could have happened,is they were screwed sooner so you had to get other tires!

Thanks for the suggestions. I think persistence is the key. I complained enough to BFGoodrich about the center wear issue on our rear tires and got them to refund me 80% of the purchase price of a new set I ordered from Tire Rack.
