I came home to find contractors for AT&T had dug up 60' of my upper tree lawn, disposing of six 11 year old Lilac bushes, two Barberry's, and a dozen newly planted hybrid Poplars.

I found a note on the back door claiming " we will soon be doing some digging on your street."

Nice.

5 minutes warning.

I don't have any pictures to post on this one. (and you woldn't want to see them anyway) so I'll just describe Monday with avatars.

Monday I turned 36 :depress: so I decided to go for a ride on my dirtbike. It started on the first kick, I dropped it in gear and :burnout: across the yard :D. All was going well :coolman: until I grabbed my recently adjusted front brake. That was immediately followed by  then  and a quick :censor:.

Fifteen seconds into my ride I was on the ground :help:with a square foot of road rash, bent handle bar, and badly bruised, torn, and dislocated ego :o.

I stumbled back across the yard where I spent the rest of the day watching TV. My right knee looks like an ugly variety of squash. :puke:

All in all, I've had better days.

Thanks Ken! I stayed here with the intention of getting all my firewood cut for the season. Instead I got rain, rain, and more rain.

Currently I have beautifull cuttin' weather but I walk about as well as I ride cycle.

None of your fine friends would remind you about how you should have joined us at Seymour. Especially with the reminder about the same room rate as you got at Horse Cave.

Remember what dad always said about bad things happening when you don't visit fambly when you should. Next time you'll know better. :)

Um, I won't tell you what Gordon/Chris said.

Um, I guess the knee's gonna grow some new skin, but, hopefully the bike didn't get hurt .........and why didn't you git back on?

:cake: OH YEAH! HAPPY BIRTHDAY :birthday:
