Has anyone had any experience with braided radiator hoses? I'm looking to dress up my engine and I was wondering if there is a good source out there to purchase them. Also, someone told me that they have a tendancy to leak.

I'm sure summit has a section on Braiding for radiator hoses that will slide over the OEM hoses.I used them on my Firebird formula and never had to replace the top hose, so guess what happened, the bottom hose burst. As for leaking, only if installed badly. The steel braiding is a great help for extending the life of a hose.
IMHO

Thanks. That sounds like the way to go. I was not aware that you could buy the material to slide over the exsisting hose.

Thanks again.

If you get a polished Trilogy kit, It comes with a bunch of braided coolant hoses. Just be careful installing them, they are sharp! :cool4:
Really dresses up the engine compartment!
