Yeah I had an 86% when I took it, pullies were my downfall as well.
Pendulum question I got wrong too, I think I know why must have to do with deceleration of the momentum at the end of the swing?
I don't wanna give it away for those who haven't taken it. :D

450 here...couple of the pulley questions and the water in the pipe question. I think the fan question was trick, but maybe that's sour grapes... :D

For me.... got the pullies, got the gears.
I KNOW I hosed a AT LEAST a couple of the electrical (don't know schematics), possibly the Water Pipe and Possibly the Fan. Both were total guesses....

490 98% yeah!.. i was studing mechanical engineering in college so i supose i should know this stuff! lol only missed one as i'm a retard. it was # 48.. i said it was suction from the piston when i didn't think far enough to relize its acutally creating a vacuum which in turn the atmospheric pressure is atcually filling up the void.

Same here I guess I need to study up on internal combustion or just buy a supercharger:beatnik:

I was never any good at processing drawings in my head specially if they were 3 dimensional, that is why I am not a structural engineer today, I got #6 wrong; just can't count the teeth in them gears very well.;)
I guessed in about 4 questions and got lucky, the electrical stuff I do know, one of the diagrams was specially obtuse and drawn purposely unorthodox just to confuse. I also thought the fan question was confusing. The fans facing each other in profile do turn in the same direction, however in reality one turns clockwise and the other counter, rotation direction is meant to be interpreted by facing the natural front position of the rotating object, not from the back or side...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.:P

wow.. I suck I failed 72% 360pts
I certainly have forgotten a lot from when I was in college. I passed both power mechanics and advanced power mechanics, but I only got a 76% with 380 pts.

440 @ 88%
not bad for a computer geek.
