View Full Version : Adopted my new boy today....

Well as most of you know, about a month and a half ago, I had to put my boy Stanley down because he had a softball sized tumor in his chest.

Well I miss him a lot and so does his sister Stella, so we decided to rescue a lab that had been abandoned.

Guapho (pronounced Guapo) was left at the front door of the humane society in Ohio and I located him through www.labs4rescue.com.

I picked up Guapho in Danbury, Connecticut, where he was transported by the rescue society. I took him to the Vet for a check under the hood and then to the groomer for a buff and polish and now he is all spiffed up.

I am so excited to have him. he is a good, curious, ENERGETIC two year old lab who will get lots of love in his new home. I will need to work with him a bit on training but I have a good starting point to work with.

So, it felt good to pick up my new boy!

He's a handsome guy ! I'm glad to see you adopted a rescue.

Congrats Marty! What a fitting name. "Guapo" is the Tagalog (Filipino) word for "handsome".
