Went Drag racing again

I went to Martin Mi. Saturday and the GM went 13.5179 which is a new record for the car. It still is not gettint the 60 foot times that I think it should and the MPH is still slow at 100.35. We still had a good time. I entered the Gamblers race and redlighted and broke out the first round. My reaction times were all over the place and I never did get consistent there. I am happy with the time and think it will go faster if I can figure out how to launch harder.

Glad you are getting out and having fun with the car. Not sure I can offer any help on going faster or being more consistent.

Jeremy the car is usually consistent and when I race I dont try to make it go faster. I made 7 runs and 6 were within .07 on one another. When eleminations started I did not notice that it ran the 13.51 as part of the time slip[ was torn. I dialed in a 13.63 and it went a 13.60 and that was my mistake along with the red light.

13.51? Wow and I thought it was running fast at MV at 13.72, can't wait to how much faster it will get with a better 60 ft.

What gears are you using?

4.10 gears and a 3200 converter. I still think it will go faster but I only have one shot at SSHS7 to do it. New motor for next year.
