Looks really sharp.
I like the rear spoiler, first Marauder I like it on, and the moon roof deflector.

Flame? As sailsmen said looks sharp. Do you have a Mach 1 chin spoiler?

It isn't my cup of tea looks wise, but I bet you don't get that annoying buzzing sound from the stock wind deflector vibrating in the wind at speed.

I think the DTR color is nice, so for me, I wouldn't use another shade of red for the letters. Kinda takes away from the DTR color. I'd match the letters with the trim. Something greyish-silver (maybe even rocker panels) and outlined in very slightly in black, to make the silver pop-out and match the trim. Then have the last "R" kinda connect into a straight or waving checkered flag with black and greyish-silver.
That would better match the badge you got on the C-pillar. No flame, just throwin out ideas. :)

Quick question about the spoiler on the back; Can you see it, and know where the back end is, from the drivers seat?

J/K...nothing wrong with personalization, and I guess the bridge is cool too...:D

I'm not a big fan of the letters on the side or windshield..... looks like you need to be reminded what you car is.... like putting your name on a tag in your underwear so you know who's it is....

I don't take issue with the Marauder stuff -- at least that is the type of car. The 4.6 interceptor badges just don't belong. Wrong car. What you have is better than that. Unless you're trying to have people underestimate you . . . :)
I like the badges though, just not on a MM - just bought some for my new/old winter beater CVPI.

Not so much for the RED lettering. But if you like it that's all that really matters.:) Nice spoiler! If I ever get an MM I'll be sure to think about getting the spoiler on mine. Gives it that little bit of 'tude over the GM sillohouette.;)

Speaking of 4.6 badge. I put a single red 4.6 High Performance badge on mine to go along with the red inserts. Only other badges/emblems are the svt Cobra on the front quarter panels and gods head emblems.

Agree with a lot of the other posts...not a fan of the red lettering (or really any such lettering on these cars) but the rest looks nice!

Exactly, I mean it's not like their were a million and one different colors and wheel options to set us all apart. I know at the MVV picnic no two marauders were completely alike which was cool to see. Everyone had just a few different things.

Yeah........^I agree^^^^^^^.you already got the Marauder sign with the flags on the fender--even if it is wrong--...flag is suppose to be leading into the wind--forward--not backward DUH!!...........

WOW, thanks for all the opinions and i do mean all.
Flame? As sailsmen said looks sharp. Do you have a Mach 1 chin spoiler?
Yes, i have the Mach 1 spoiler, but it just didn't all show up in the picture.
I like it BUT i don't like the red marauder on the side....sorry
No need for "sorry" i knew everyone and most probably would not like
them.
Looks sharp, the roof thing isn't my cup of tea but if you like it, that's great!

It is a whole lot quieter and less turbulance for the back seat passengers when cruising at night at speed.
I think the DTR color is nice, so for me, I wouldn't use another shade of red for the letters. Kinda takes away from the DTR color.
Good point. Could have went a bit more sutle but that was as dark as i could get to match bumper inserts, i originally wanted cardinal red
Quick question about the spoiler on the back; Can you see it, and know where the back end is, from the drivers seat?
No, at least i can't being a short guy. Maybe if the rear view mirror was angled that way, maybe.
Your MM still looks as good since I saw it in November.

Thank you i try. Hard to believe it's coming up on one year.

No worries, That is the Clark Bridge and what links us in St. Louis to the famous "Fast Eddies BonAir" in Illinois.

The side letters may be a bit overkill.
You think maybe i should have stayed with the previous small ones?
One things for sure no more sneeking around. Be hard to say it wasn't me, even with the only other one i've seen here.:coolman:
I'm not a big fan of the letters on the side or windshield..... looks like you need to be reminded what you car is.... like putting your name on a tag in your underwear so you know who's it is....
Makes it easier to spot in a parking lot full of DTR's :)
my honest opinion....yuck. but it YOU like it thats all that matters.
Nothing wrong with honesty, thus the title of the thread.
I like the badges though.
Nothing special i just liked them and thought they'd look good there.
67 Galaxie 500!!!:cool4: I likie allot! What color and options?
My first car was a 69 Galaxie 500 dark green or whatever Ford called it back then. Hand me down from poppa and he wasn't a car guy, just something to haul us six kids around in, plus it was governed.
Not so much for the RED lettering. But if you like it that's all that really matters.:) Nice spoiler! If I ever get an MM I'll be sure to think about getting the spoiler on mine. Gives it that little bit of 'tude over the GM sillohouette.;)
You're in good company about the letters. The spoiler i got just in case they ever stopped making them, plus it does add that certain "ginna se' qau" and it was the last option.
Speaking of 4.6 badge. I put a single red 4.6 High Performance badge on mine to go along with the red inserts. Only other badges/emblems are the svt Cobra on the front quarter panels and gods head emblems.
I've seen a few with the single 4.6 badge, like it there as well. Just don't go over on the Mustang boards with the Cobra one though, they tend to get a bit upset :(
I dont like the letters, but your car is still what made me buy mine :)
Why thank you. Glad i inspired at least one, to become one of the few, the proud, the.... ooops that's another proud tradition. Ahh the days when mine was still a virgin canvas.
Yeah........^I agree^^^^^^^.you already got the Marauder sign with the flags on the fender--even if it is wrong--...flag is suppose to be leading into the wind--forward--not backward DUH!!...........
Sorry, but i was thinking logically, my bad, kind of hard to keep a flag facing forward in a good breeze.
Thanks for all the opinions. Nothing is on there permanently, as the mood/whim hits it changes.....except the rear spoiler, that stays

1stMerc, Your Marauder is as pretty as can be. It looks very nice and well loved. I like DTR and I firmly believe in "make it yours" and you have done that nicely. Keep having fun. I hope to park the FruitPunch near yours some time, somewhere soon. Dennis:)

Wayman, you did the MM community proud at the parade in Seymour. I hope to see you and your DTR many times in the future. Your car, your mods, just don't put a vinyl roof on that bad boy :puke:

Oh noooo, he said pretty  that's it, the stuff comes off....

Thanks Dennis, That means a lot coming from the only other decorated DTR in existence. It would be an honor to park next to FruitPunch till it decides to exhale and leave me in the dust.
My last road trip of the year will colminate at SSHS7 hope to see you there.
5 trips out of town in one year in THE Marauder that is a record for me.
Kentucky, Tennessee, Maryland, Seymour and now Commerce. And a bunch short hops to Illinois. I've enjoyed every last mile. 6478.5 trip miles on the gps starting with MV V last year.
I love this car.

Thanks Dan
I am soooo glad i could attend. I really enjoyed the parade and being in it. And thanks for giving me the kick to attend. One of all colors was truly awesome.
Only other thing besides the revvving, if we could have just sat and roasted some tires ehh Barry, Dennis and Hack :burnout:
One thing you and everyone else definitely don't have to worry about is a vinyl or landau top.
