I am thinking about making a run down to the US Marine Corps museum about 1 PM this weekend (Saturday) and maybe swing by the "Zum Rheingarten" German Restaurant in Stafford for dinner. :D

This weekend is not good for me. Next weekend Sun only. Grabbing some Scoobie snacks and some sudds sounds good to me. Perhaps 270/695 area? What do you guys think?
I really would like to meet up with you guys again before it gets too cold and i have to garage the rauder for the winter.

Garage? Must be nice, my new house has a crappy car port and to do any structure changes I have to get the housing association to approve of it which rarely happens from what my neighbors tell me.

That sounds very interesting, I'd make the trip to do that! This weekend is booked for me.
Maybe sometime in Nov. other than Nov 3/4th, already going to racewaypark in NJ that weekend. The first three weekends in Dec. are still free for me.

This is a good idea if we can get the right weekend I can get my dad to bring the '65 down - not to far from their place. The USMC museum is great.
I'm out this weekend on vacation and Nov 10-11 would not work either.
The one in the middle works but whatever works best for all is what counts.

Might I suggest you get the ball rolling by just picking a date that is about two or more weeks in advance. You may miss good dates by waiting to see who responds and what their choices may be.
I arrange dates for another forum; "been there, done that" as the saying goes. Went back and forth for weeks trying to set an accomodating date, missing good opportunities all the while. If you want to accomodate any "regulars", just email them directly beforehand, set date accordingly and see who else shows up. Then set up the next meeting date before the current event is over, then announce to the forum your choice. We have had much better results doing it this way. Being regular with the dates allows those who missed an opportunity to join up at the next one. Also, alternating Sat. and Sun. meets brings out different people due to work schedules.

November 17 - who can go?
We'll hit National Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, and either the German restaurant Charlie mentioned or if the BK cruise is still going on we can convoy there via Joplin Rd (very curvey!) to hit the cruise in.

I am alittle hesitant as " Lilith" has a boo-boo Still. Haven't had the funds to replace drivers fender/ Header panel. I Hit a damn yellow concrete pole barrier backing out of a seven eleven, to those that are not aware.
As I think it was Zack put it...it is the Big Blue Bad Luck Magnet. You guys pick a date, and place yet?

You can easily spend 3-4hrs at the museum, so 1 or 2pm might be good. The cruise in may not be going on that late, especially once daylight savings hits it's empty by nightfall or rather thats when the rice comes out, so I'd say dinner would be best.
So I'd say museum around 1-ish.

So, are we having rice for dinner?:P I know, bad joke, couldn't resist.
The meeting time is very good since I will have a little bit of a drive to get there.

I'm coming in from PA.
Both times that I went through the DC area in Aug& Sept. 95S of the DC beltway was a parking lot. If I come in 495S to 66W to 234S going through Dumfries, would this be any better?
