Thanks in large part to all the random discussions on issues encountered with our MMs on this website, I have alerted my L/M dealer to the problems many of you have experienced to date.
My MM is due for the FIRST service interval next month.
In company with their Service Manager and "lead wrench", I reviewed the wiring harness and wheel alignment problems for them to look into when the car is there for service.
The dealer principal (and personal friend) was very impressed with "our" ability to share common problems and concerns relating to the Marauder.
He agrees that too few Marauders have been through his doors for the mechanics to be as familiar with as people on this website.
He has instructed his puter personnel to sign-on and monitor our website for future enlightenment.
I'm convinced this dealer has the integrity to pursue the best means of resolving customer issues.
He drove an MM as his personal demo car when they were first delivered. The guy is a true "autophile".
As a matter of fact, it was on his enthusiastic recommendation that I bought my Marauder.
I feel very fortunate to have a L/M dealer in my neck of the woods that truly cares about my ownership concerns.
His people not only listen...they are eager to learn....just as I continue to learn from all of you.
We don't enjoy the problems if/when encountered, but its nice to know there is a broad network of MM owners out there that have the savvy and courtesy to help one another.
