Buckeyes,
I know this may be short notice...but at least for me...this will be the last chance to get the Marauder out to the track before it goes away for the winter.
For all that are interested, Dragway 42 will have their Test N' Tune going on Saturday, November 3rd...gates open at 11am.
http://www.dragway42.com/calendar/index.html
Weather looks to be in the 50's, and mostly sunny. I hope to make the best runs of the year so far...always hoping for personal bests.
Anyone that can make it is invited. I will probably be at the entrance at 11am. If anyone would like to caravan...PM me, or call me.
See you there.
-Mat
p.s. If for some reason this falls through...lets try again the following Saturday.

DAMN YOU !!!
:P
I was just going to start this very thread.
Mark and I will see you there. Looks like 56 and sunny.
I need only burn off a little 94, run up to Avon for some 100, and tomorrow I will be in Akron, so I can get a jug of 114. I have a full tank of NOS as well.
Finally, I can test Zack's motor with a 125 shot.
Booya!!!
See ya there.

I will be bringing the digital camera...and the video camera. Should be a great time. Dry air, and cool temps should make for an interesting outing.

It would be great to see a Blue there tomorrow!
Gates open at 11am. I will be there then.
If you run in the 13's a helmet is required (I think). If you don't have one...you can borrow mine.

If you're running high 13's and > you need nothing.
I used to run with my son in the back in a 5-point car seat back in the day.;)
I have a helmet on hand however.

Planning on making it, but work may interfere. Yeah, I said the W*** word!
Mat just called as I'm writing this, said West Salem is showing 26 degrees right now, hope that it doesn't warm up too soon. :burnout:

Yes what a great day at the track.I ran a new personal best of 14.63 at 97.63mph gears and a dyno tune made a big difference. :burnout: It was great to have a bunch of Marauders at the track for the last time this year, and hangin with the crew again. We always have a blast when we do this.:D

Indeed a wonderfull day.
I made the 100 mph club, but fell short of the 110 club.
Mark and I made it to the final 6 in the bracket shootout. Inexperience was our downfall. Dialed in 8.01 and ran a 8.000 :shake:
Best time for the day: 12.53 at 109 and a 1.73 60ft.
The car hooked like mad.
A Vortec is in my future, because 11's are impossible with my current setup.

Congrats Mat on making it into the 100 MPH club.
Thanks Blue. I had 3 goals, a 13.6 something, a 1.9 someting 60ft, and a 100+ trap speed. Looks like my set up did it's job.
