Leave it or Flame it ?

First of all I am new to the community. Knowing I am taking a risk of getting tared and feathered I have to ask your opinions.I bought an 03 MM in may of 07 that has been slid through a median and I need to repaint the dog house and one door.I have never owed a car that I didn't custom paint and this all black beauty is just begging for blue pearl ghost flames. Should I go for it or leave it plain? This car only has 14000 miles What are your thoughts?

As long as you don't do anything really funky like painting it green, it should be cool. Look for some pics of Teamrope's car, he has a nice flame job. Ghost flames would look good. In the end, it's your car so if you like flames go for it!

What part of a car is the "dog house"? I'm trying to put an accident such as you describe in my head and an area of the car around a door and can't figure it out.

Are you referring to the trunk?

He used to have "ghost flames"...then he upgraded to the "true flames"

Not enough coverage for my taste either. Should have gone into the back doors, but $$$ was a factor too. As it was I ended up $3k over what the insurance allowed for the repairs.

For a suggestion; Black pearl metallic :coolman:
If you insist on the flames , I wouldn't do the Hot Wheels look , The car is a little too sophisticated.
The subtle look, Ghost flames are better , IMHO.
