Last year at SSHS6 I was running 12.3's but now I'm no longer blown so I dropped back to 13.4's at SSHS7. I can't take it, gotta get a fix before SSHS8.

I know the feeling Ford nut. It was good meeting you in Atlanta. My car goes to the shop next week on Tues. for a little vacation. Its time to go play with the SC crowd. The need for speed is a lot of fun. Its gonna be hard to wait till spring to find out what the new toys will do!

Thanks, but I'm thinking along a different line this time.

Great to meet you, your car is really sweet. Get the door handles fixed! We'll have something for them next year.

Brian what happened to the blower?

Sold it when it contributed to head gasket leakage, then I found myself jobless while the car was down. Went back N/A to prevent another breakdown while I couldn't afford to fix it as well as getting some cash from the blower sale to pay bills with.

You're kidding, right? The 324 bb/s was making 660 with only 14 lb boost! I'll probably go back to a similar power level, just a different torque curve.

My engine ought to hold up to the power, it's a Teksid block with billet rods, forged pistons, forged crank and everything is cryo-treated.

Twin screw is likely.

...and you did not break.

That's the best part of running N/A.

You hit the nail on the head there. I also think I have the door handle problem figured out. I hope they will let me change the drivers door, if they allow that I will swap it out for this event. Than its backed to shaved and smooth rest of the time. The cost would be cheap that way.

I said that in jest since you had trouble with your last blower on bigger horse power, so yup I was kidding :P, gotta love having a 324, I did 440 on 11psi running 10.5:1 A/F... I need to get off my lazy but and lean out the tune a bit, and get rid of the 6K cut off LOL

I knew someone would get it! For the ones who dont know whats going on when i went thru tech they rejected the car due to the shaved door handles. I had to give the fire guys the remote so they could open the doors in case of a wreck. I was also told not to come back next year without a door handle and would be getting the E Mail so I could not say that it was ok last year. They did show me the rule book. I kept my mouth shut and they figured out a way to let me race. The guy said you came a long way to have to sit and watch. I am grateful to them for figuring out a way to make it happen!

I vote for twin screw, 15psi you'd be ripping 11's or maybe even 10's.

John.... think "retractable motorized door handle covers".... it'd be different and cool!
