I'll be at the Valley tomorrow, getting in a few runs with the '01, along with my friends' T-bird and Charger.

Anyone else interested in getting in a few runs before the place shuts down for the season?

South of Louisville on Dixie Hwy. if I remember correctly. Last time I was there I was in high school. Yeah, it's been a while.

Just seems natural since Ky is in the "Ohio Valley" and the "Ohio River" runs nearly the entire length of the states northern border. :coolman:

I went, and Embassy was there as well. I didn't see all of his runs, but I was having traction issues. My first run was 8.42 @ 88mph with a crappy 60 foot time. My times varied all day from a 8.93 to a 8.36 all right around 88 mph. I have now learned that I cannot take the spare and jack tools out without suffering traction issues. The weight right on top of the axle really does make a difference. :D

I took the '01 on 1/4 tank of gas and a fully laiden trunk, including tools, full-size spare, etc. Ask Drew, he saw all the junk I have in there.

The weather was perfect.

My best of the 4 runs was 9.82. My reaction times were terrible averaging .20.

I got some decent pics and video footage. I'll have them posted by Monday.

Drew, was that dirty Marauder.

As a side note, my Marauder airbox showed up today to compliment the Marauder MAF in the basement. Time to retune the '01. :D

Drew, was that dirty Marauder.

It got a bath on the way home. I had to get the numbers off so I got the car washed at Timmy's on Dixie. I plan to head out to Hobby Lobby tonight. :D

I believe tomorrow is the last day to run at Ohio Valley.

Therefore, I might be out there to see if I can improve on last week's times, followed by a trip to Pull-a-Part.

Anyone else interested in going?

What time? I'm available around lunchtime or so, interested in stopping somewhere to grab a bite and go to the valley afterwards?

This may be the last weekend I take the MM out before she's garaged for the winter, depends on whether I finish the shop up in time.

They don't open until 12pm. Steve, call me when you head to PAP. I've got some things to do in the morning/ early afternoon.
