This is a follow up to a set of problems I've been having where my car stalls. I finally now have the pictures to show what my car idles at. Given the situtation,; ie: in park or gear.
I have tried everything short of a tune, the next step, to fix it. I'm just wondering if a tune will fix it or cause more problems. When cold my car idles much higher. When warm it drops way down to this level.

I had my Local Mechanic test mine, and they said it was good. I stall when I have my wheels turned and the car is not moving or not moving much. Happens both in drive and reverse.

that idle speed looks really close to mine..but i have no problems...you say it only happens when you turn the wheel?...the pcm should adjust idle higher when it sees power steering pressure increase..maybe you do have a "lazy" IAC motor..i would swap with known good one and see what happens

I agree. I took mine out for another reason, cleaned it with carb cleaner, and then lubed it, and now the car want to stall sometimes. I shouldn't have frogged with it:shake:

Isn't there is a sensor that sends the signal of ps presure to the PCM, perhaps it is bad.

yes there is a sensor in the p/s line that sends a signal to pcm, most are a on/off type switch, when the pressure crosses a threshold the pcm should increase idle..not sure which kind the MM has but it could be bad
