:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

What about the bold statements at the start of the previously closed thread?

What is being hidden?

Was there ever any cancellations? or is it all bull? We saw who was involved in the accussations.

Why some members expect MM.net to mend fences and allow people back on this site when said ex-member won't even shake hands of .net members? He posts about people being two faced that post on both sites. (Not referring to all ex-members, I was treated cordially by Dave, Mike, Darrel, etc at WoodWard this year. And we know who was involved in the BS a year ago, when sides were chosen!)

That thread and the thread on MCM opened a lot of eyes.

I suspect TJA through the info he received from telephone records suspected it was Zack. He investigated further and Zack was cleared. That's good.

The fact remains that this did happen, and it has happened before. It doesn't matter WHO the individual target of it was in some of the instances, it shouldn't be tolerated. If someone has a problem with the individual you speak of they need to deal with it in some other way, not this cowardly hidden prankster style.
Regardless, it isn't about one individual it is and always has been about the Marauder community, which is small enough as it is.

I find it ironic that many of the people jumping on a mending fences band wagon now are the same ones who were against the unbanning I called for a few months ago.
What I called for was not a mending fences crusade, it was about correcting a wrong that was done here, and it is what the 'community' needed. Too much time has past for that now I'm afraid.

I'm questioning whether it really happened, or if someone was trying to stir the pot. I agree, that if it in fact happened, then let us know, and we will decide how to proceed from there. Banning from both sites would be OK, neither needs that behavior. The people supposedly targeted don't deserve it, but neither do we deserve unsubstantiated accusations.

I'm not pushing for mending fences, there are a few that keep fanning the fires. It was obvious from the posts. There are others that have moved beyond that, and should get their access back is they wanted it, if they can respect others.

I sold my MM over 2 years ago, but I visit here as much as I do the 300 site just to enjoy the soap opera.:argue: We dont have any of this drama there. Wonder why that is?

There are enough people who witnessed hotel clerks, Outback hosts etc make the statements about someone calling and canceling to make it true.

Same with past similar incidents. I don't doubt it happened, and is more than likely an extremely small group, if it is a 'group' that pulled this off.
Extremely childish, cowardly and selfish tactic.

Part of it may be because the community is so small.

How large is the online 300 community?

On the other site they claim to know who it is but its being played out as a big soap opera.
This is why people think it never happened.

It's not any more of a 'soap opera' there than it is here.

I can assure you there are people who know who it is, and the culprit is one of them.

Some people are letting personal issues cloud their thinking.

If you look at most users online ever it appears that the 300 community is 10x what we have here. We dont have 10x the hate and discontent though. I have been here since the beginning and was at the first Chicken Run ever. Good times back then. Sgt. Mac had just put a chip in his car!! No superchargers, no gears,no pulleys back then. Exciting times learning about our cars, just a bunch of old gearheads exploring the potential that our cars offered. Where did it all go wrong? Some of y'all should be ashamed.

The motives for the baning the MCM brotheren was obviously jealousy and fear based.
The motives for the reoccurring pranks are equally based.
Very unfortunate that basically a small group of adults (enthusiasts) can behave like such morons.
One of the few times, I have not been proud of being part of this(either) group.

I remember those days. People sat on the 'edge of their seat' waiting to hear of the next potential mod or someones result in using it.
People can say what the want about Mac but in the early days he wasn't afraid to 'pioneer' and share his findings.

But if you also remember the early days had it's discourse and problems.
I still think it may have something to do with the size of the community. A smaller community perhaps allows the 'troublemakers' a little more attention than they might have in a larger one.

I disagree, it was their own actions that got them banned.

When MCM went "National" their Moderator repeatedly asked them to stop discussing MercuryMarauder.Net and it's members.
