While reading the seller's book worthy biographical description of the car we are all too familiar with, I got to the "what is invested part" and "low reserve" comment, and for some reason that Supertramp song "Dreamer" came to mind.

The only people who really made money on that car is the stealership techs.
seller says they messed up the tune thats why they had to change the engine. What he really means is some lotboy put reg gas in it and then took it out for a joyride.:bs:

It looks like the car belonged to the dealership when the engine swap was made.

I am going to buy a highly modified car from the same guy that bent the rods while "trying" to tune it?

Did he also bend the frame while trying to get the alternator in?

I read this first, and was singing the song in my head when I looked at the pics. I stopped when I saw the engine bay. Why not spend a little exta time and elbow grease and spiff it up since the engine dominated most of his writing? And if they have one of the best mechanics in the world, how did they manage to trash the first engine? That being said, I wouldn't mind owning it, nice ride.
