Ha, I thought I would get some views with that title. Sorry I couldn't make the meet, but I was out of town at a class reunion. On my way back from OC, I noticed my heated seat (backlights) flickering/flashing. Anyone experience this one before.

Either replace them or fix them yourself.

I believe the switch is about $50.00 and can be replaced in about 30 minutes or so.
Both of mine have been replaced for 'blinking' and most L/M Dealers stock the part as it is a very common occurrence in the Panther vehicles.

I think that everyone with heated seats has experienced this at one time or another. Mostly happens on the driver's side (on mine anyway).
After about 3 years of flickering, I don't hardly notice it anymore. :o Maybe one day I will remember to get it fixed. Maybe not. :P

I replaced my side, and I think the switch was only 12 bucks or so...no where near $50

That's the only heat I get in my seats for the last going on 5 winters!

I checked, and My switch cost $12.48 cents...it was my drivers side, and It was easy to install. May be slightly more if you don't have a parts hook up @ a dealership parts dept. I worked for a dealer @ the time.
