I have them all the way around and on cut fronts. I like them a lot. I have posted before that the ride is comparable to the Nakke kit at a particular setting. Maybe not the best setting, but a good ride nonetheless.

Rich, wopuld you rate the ride with the Monroes as softer or harsher than with the factory Tokico shocks?

I had the original rear shocks replaced this morning with the Monroes, right rear was leaking. I like the ride with them, maybe a hair softer, but feels good with the Addco rear sway bar. I think that I will replace the front set soon too.

Hard to say, Pete.

Rear may be a little softer, but I replaced 2 leaking stockers. Also, I think with the CA's and poly bushings, a tad softer is in order.

Front may be a little softer on compression, but has better rebound. Again, take that with a grain, cuz I cut my springs same time as I replaced fronts.

I see no reason you wouldn't like them.

I have only replaced my rears so far but I noticed the rear was a lot tighter afterwards and still is. Need to change the fronts sometime soon.

Replaced F&R just last week with Monroes. Got my new car ride back at 120k. With Addco F&R love the ride and cornering!! I was my RR that was leaking too.

good info. I asked because I've noticed my car is alot softer. not as tight if you know what I mean. but since I spent the money and time to get it done, I guess i'm going to have to ride it out till they get crazy loose and go back to factory.

I'm thinking of using the KYB's myself. I was wondering if you could say how they compare to the stock ones?

I am not finding them softer, they seem relatively firm, but also, I can't remember exactly how firm the original ride was 3 1/2 years later. In any case, I am satisfied with them for now, and hopefully they hold up for a while.

I put Monroes on my GM when the factory shocks started leaking (at 40k miles! ) and I'm very happy with them.
