It's a new F-350 Turbo Diesel.......God help the mechanic that might have to find the engine under there!!!:rolleyes:

Remove the cowl and all the intake piping, its not all that bad.

Over 650 ft LB of torque and 350 hp....I think it makes some power ;)

Crazy powerful...worked @ a dealer when they first came out...There are like 7 different Radiators/ coolers on that thing. Plumbers beware.

In order to work on it, the body has to come off of the frame.

6.4s are nasty. buddy had a 6.0 and it ran 14s with just programing. sounded awsome too

I kept on hearing that the 6.0's were the bad bunch from guys that came to the dealership.
I also had alot of complaints from guys still wanting the Bigger 7+ liter diesel that Ford used to make.

My 7.3 was running high 13s before I blew the motor with 9000 miles on it....

I was launching in 4Hi because I couldn't hook up.

The 7.3L was a wonderful engine. Too bad ford stopped using it. (International T444E)


The 6.0L (International VT365E) 03 and 04s were very problematic. We leased a 04 Crewcab 4x4 to pull the 3 car hauler for Innovative and I had very many problems with it, and it was bone stock!

05+ Seems to have all the bugs worked out. The biggest complaint I have heard about the 6.4L is the fuel consumption. The 6.8L V10 Gassers are getting better mileage than the new PSDs.
