I've seen these. Unbelievable.

Funny, being of Asian descent, but a US Born red blooded American, I don't like to buy anything made in China, which is why I dont do business with Wal Mart. Remember when WalMart had the "Buy American and America Works" Campaign?

Not anymore. Half the stuff is Made in CHina, and the rest is Pakistan, Phillipines, or South America.

I bet Less than 10% of the stuff in their stores is US made anymore.

Sad when you think about it.

Because it is not that old.

Can you imagine the how many million of those POS F-150s were sold? How many are still on the road?

Ford has sold enough F-150s to know better (almost 60 yrs.). After all, if they aren't expected to produce safe trucks, especially those that they have been making for decades, then I guess the public shouldn't expect Chinese cars to be safe until this time in the year 2067.

I, like many other Ford fans, was disgusted that they put something like that on the market not too long ago.

True, but if you look at the new F150, they've obviously learned from their mistakes.

True right back at you , but let us not criticize a company that has yet to sell a single car in our market if we are too blind to not have criticized Ford for selling that POS for all those years.

The public was quite enough about the whole Ford F-150 situation that a mid-model improvement was never made.

BTW, if it were up to me: No big ticket items from China until the trade deficit is balanced with them (or at the very least improved). That is, however, a whole different can of worms.
