Here's a question. In general, How much does a person put down, including closing costs?

So, how would a person(s) with REALLY crappy credit with really no money saved go about trying to get into a home, or get into a rent with option to buy.. None of the realisate agents around here will give me the time of day cause I really want a rent with option to buy since I have sucky credit and no money saved.

Don't screw up your credit, Save up....and you'll be fine. Its all about the choice on what you spend your money on. Get a home or spend it on cars/guns/kids/whatever...

Problem is Real Estate Agents don't deal with lease to own. We don't get paid anything on it. Problem is there USED to be loan programs for people in that situation. Now...look what happened....

Btw, good luck David. Fresh starts are always nice with new companies.
