First off, this ISNT going on my car, but rather a fun other project.
Question is, since its 35 dollars, is this a cheap piece of crap or will it work? Also, do i just cut the brake line and attach this in the middle? How have you mounted yours?

The item appears to be suitable. Most of us whom have line locks bought the Hurst model from Summit at $105.
As far as hooking up, you'll have offer a bit more info on the vehicle it is going on.

If they charge too much for shipping, let me know. Jegs is about 5 minutes from my house. I will pick it up, and ship to you ;)
Also, they copied the Hurst Kit to make theirs. They offer a rebuild kit. You do the math.

Spend the $35 towards the MM and not the buggy.
