Well my 11/4 accident is slowly coming to a settled conclusion. Both front bags deployed, front beam under core support is bent on the d/s. My insurance totaled it, waiting for Jackass that caused the accidents' insurance to do the same.
As I wait:
No damage to engine, radiator, etc. Only the air filter, windshield res and d/s inner fender liner. Car starts right up. No front end, no hood, both front doors.
From that point, the rest of the car is an 8 out of 10 condition. 66k miles on car and 4k on the new rear end.
Question: What's the general consensus on the car's worth?
Thanks

Im getting all of $5800.00 and I get to keep the car. As I mentioned, the front end is gone....as is the hood, fenders and front doors. Frame and crossmember under the rad support is bent
Engine and trans unharmed 66k with meticulous maintenance
Rear end has 3k on it, new axles, posi and bearings/seals, I posted 4k but I rechecked and its 3k on it
Near new tires and wheels unharmed
All sheetmetal from the rear doors back unharmed
Complete interior is an 8 out of 10 and unharmed
All glass perfect as well
What should I ask for it. Some people have made serious inquiries

You know have everything you need to do a CVPI conversion. Except the front end.

Engine-$2500
Trans-$1000
Rear-$500
Wheels-$500
Body Parts-$1000??
Parting out hassle and aggravation-$5K????
I'd take the $6K and move on!!!

I think I agree with 'jack.
I was gonna guess 4500 figuring what I'd get for the parts minus the labor to remove them and do all the work/prep/packing/etc to sell them.
Take the 6K. Netting 12K-ish is probably pretty good overall.

THAT ain't gonna happen. My repair was over 13K with about 1/3 of his damage.
