Hello All,
I assume the Marauder motor is the same as the 03-04 Avaitor motor... if so has anyone had any issues with the valve guides or low compression with the Driver side of the engine... I see 03-04 Aviators with 27-45K miles with low compression on any of the cylinder on the Drivers side..but most common is #7...

I think the Aviator has different cams etc. Our heads/cams are the same as the 03/04 Mach 1/ Cobra
I'm wondering if it's the drivers side head cooling issue that's been posted about for some time. DR markets a kit to solve that, but if the damage is done then the horse is already out of the barn.

I read that the Marauder engine is equipped with the Aviator "truck" cams.

do you have a link or something? If you are reading this from Motor Trend's "first look" back in 1999-2000, that info usually isn't the best.
