06 Ford Focus headlamp mod

I finally installed my Black stealth headlamps in the Focus.
Boy what a difference in appearance.

I am having some issues that need worked out however...as when I turn on my brights, I lose ALL lights including fogs. Very wierd.

Sounds like the high beam connection has a problem. The fogs go out when you hit the high beams, that's normal. Our MMs do that as well when you switch to full high beam. Interestingly, the flash-to-pass doesn't disable the fogs on the MM.

Did you just paint the inners on those lights?

Ironically I just figured out that BOTH bulbs have burned out high beams, and with what you said regarding the high beams "on" condition causes the fogs to go off....that explains that as well.

Sure enough, all is well. I need a new set of aftermarket Zenon bulbs.

These replacement lenses are OEM to the tee. Fit and connection are excellent. I did not paint anything. I replaced the housings entirely. This fellow on eBay carries these headlamps for nearly every vehicle imaginable.

For the $249 I paid for the pair, I did good. The $42 shipping for 2 oversized 7lb boxes is where I lost out. I will now eBay my OEM lenses to make up a bit of that sale.

Once you get everything squared away... through in an HID conversion kit... I am debating putting one in my marauder

Tail lights already shaded nicely...and thanks to Pantheroc I have the 3M tape for the grill.
