Not knowing the entire story but if the body shop lost it, is it not their responsibility??

Yes Mike; they will pay for it, if and when I find one.

the replacement part they put in is different...I would like the original I had that had the day it rolled off the line written on it....but thats gone forever....they chucked it or ran it over.
While I was at the dealership body shop I watched a guy run over the brand new fender he was supposed to put on the car...it was hilarious, but thats what happend to my part too.
