Have a 1967 Mustang 289cid with a 2bbl sitting in the garage. It needs carb work, and I was planing on doing a rebuild. Unfortunately I haven't had much chance to work on carbs so I don't want to goof things up too badly. So I'm lookin for a good diagram so if pieces accidentally get mixed up, or I forget the order in which to put things back, I have a reference to work from. Does anyone know where I could get a good digram for a factory 2bbl carb? Also, can anyone recommend a rebuild kit or two?

This carb is one year off it's for a '66, but should be virtually identical.
This one on ebay has alot of great pics for you.

Get the rebuild kit from Napa.
A lot of times the parts blow up is in the rebuild kit.

Thanks for the thought, Larry, but the pics aren't very helpful. That does seem to be a similar, if not identical, carb. I can't remember if they're interchangable, though. Zack, I'll give Napa a whirl. With any luck you'll be right about the diagram. Plus, I know Napa typically has good stuff anyway.
You gotta love being able to walk into a Napa and walking out with tune up parts, brake parts and a fuel pump for a 59 Cadillac.
Ive done it!
