If any of you guys get Motor Trend then you probably saw the article on the new Marauder VT. 430 rear-wheel horsepower--an impressive 85% increase over the stock MM!!!!

0-60 in 5.1 sec.
1/4 mile, 13.42@104.23 mph.
Braking, 60-0 in 129 ft.
Slalom, 59.9 mph.

Three engine choices: Paxton-supercharged stock V-8, naturally aspirated stroker V-8, or a stroked and blown V-8.

You're right...I missed the 430RWHP...he's staying N/A and should get 340-350RWHP ( I think).

1/4 in 15.6@93.52

As with any modern engine, it's all about break-in. There are a bunch of folks on here in the low 15s and a handful that have dipped into the high 14s, totally stock. No idea what was the condition of the motor on the baseline runs, but if the vendor is true to his word, one can assume the final numbers were done with the same conditions (ie. not broken in, executed on the same engine after modifications, etc.). That way, one could judge the DIFFERENCE in performance due to the upgrade, not the absolute numbers which can improve due to factors outside of the upgrade itself.
