The Dallas Morning News ran a review on the Saleen Supercharged
F-150 and said it had 450 horsepower. (5.4 V8)
What does this have done to the transmission and TC that's different
from our Marauders?
I can't believe they didn't do some major upgrades. I ask this wondering
if they might be applicable for us to use.

That blower won't fit on our cars without some custom fabrication. It's for a 5.4 3V motor. You don't have to beef up the tranny just because you throw a blower on it. If you eventually up the boost and do other mods you may want/need to upgrade the tranny but for the most part you should be fine. The F150 does not utilize the same transmission as the Marauder.

Like he stated above, F150 tranny's aren't the same, they are much more heavy duty because they're much heavier than our cars and are expected to tow things. My Dad's '04 has the 4R75E and it's quite large. Even the badass Lightning has the 4R100 tranny, and those were introduced and were used in the heavy duty PSD's.

Thank you.
Am I to understand then that this transmision and/or
TC will not work in our Marauders?
I assume the actual size is to large? Bolt pattern different?
My thinking was if Ford is going to warranty a 450HP drive train then the trany better be damn stout.

They will not bolt up to MM engines.

I can't believe they didn't do some major upgrades. I ask this wondering
if they might be applicable for us to use. For one thing, the Harley Davidsons, and F150 Lightnings use the 4R100'S and they are a lot beefier than the 4R70W and 4R75W'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!:run:

The case appears to be 50% bigger. I don't think it could possibly fit with out removing most of the dash and smaller front seats.
