My 99 CV p-71 is having a sporadic issue where the heater blower just stops working, no matter what setting it is on. Eventually, it starts working again. It has been a month or so since the last episode, but it has been acting up the last couple days. Works on the way to work, doesn't work on the way home. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Blower motor controller, in heater case under hood, took place of blower resistor if you have EATC.

Blower control modules are famous for going bad......my dealer's tech told me you can smack them with a screw driver and they most of the time they begin to work again...for awhile???:shake:
Unplug your blower motor and straight wire it to the battery...if it runs full speed you definitely have a control module problem!!:argue: BTW, polarity is not important as the motor will run in either direction!!
Attached is a photo of the module...it lives in the blower plenum and is a PITA to get out of the Marauder because of the larger cam covers!!:mad2:
Good Luck!!

^^^Id bet the heat sink disk is all that goes bad.
They are about 2-5 bucks from Grainger.
