Another reason why you shouldn't replace the rims.

Wow! Almost looks like the guy hadn't tightened the lug nuts. Doesn't look like he was putting that much side load on the car when the wheels popped off.

No problem, just remember to tighten the lugs.

Exactly.

This not drifting. It's autocross.

Also it's an RX-7 with oem rims.

Someone forgot to lug them up.

At the AutoX I go to about half the drivers change thier tires to race rubber when they get there. I agree, he forgot to tighten his lug nuts.

Stock rims for that year are 16", not the oversize 18's that are on the car in the video.

This video was all over automotive forums this past summer. Wrong pitch lug nuts applied with an impact that stripped the studs.

You know, I'll have to admit, of all three gen RZ-7's I owned through my life, my RS was the only one that came with 17" wheels.

Your eyes are far better than mine to id the chassis and wheel size of that car in that grainy video.

So how did you enjoy yours?
Make it to many races in mall parking lots on the weekends?

One to you..questionably.

me 2 you 1:P

I don't get any thing offensive here.:)
Tell an autocross guy he is drifiting or a drifter guy he is autocrossing and see what they say.:censor:

That wasn't autocrossing or drifting...
It was "grinding"! It's a new off-shoot of low-riders...
:D
