Honestly, I highly doubt it is leather, Looks, feels, smells and wears like vinyl....

Someone on this site can repair that for you. Do a search on 'arm rest' and you should find him. This was just brought up about month ago....

If you open the console lid & pull straight up on it, it will come out at as assembly attached to the inner console liner. You will need to disconnect the power port that is in the center console to free the assembly. I had to replace my console lid when I bought my car due to it being cracked.

Are you sure? I had a new one put in (for free) because the hinge cracked and it sure smelled like real leather. I thought the steering wheels was also leather.

I tried to lift my armrest up to remove the assembly... fought with it and it still didn't come out... am I missing something?

Leather is only on the seating surfaces.Sorry, John, but the steering wheel and shift knob are also leather. I'm not sure about the console lid, but I *think* it's leather, too.

The armrest should have screws holding the hinge onto console. They may be behind panel inside console.

It does not. It is in with pop clips all the way around. I believe three on each side. Lift straight up - hard and fast. It will pop out and scare the hell out of you! I can't tell you how many I've removed for various reasons in quite a number of different Marauders..
