lost my father tues morning at 3.30 am...worst call i ever got...very unexpected and dont know what to do

Hang in there. My father passed away in April 06. Got that call from my mom, just as we were packing up the family to head over for a visit, too.

I keep thinking about all the things I never got to tell my dad, which is probably one of my biggest regrets. I hope that my son (who's 5) and I (at 45) get along and that we talk about all the things that need to be talked about. As it is, I talk to him now when I go to the cemetery - not the same, but it's all I can do.

Hope you had the chance to talk to your dad. For those that still have theirs, take the time to do it. Once they're gone, you won't get another chance.
