Well, there is NO way you will get the starter on if you have Kooks Headers with that pan.
Its a MAYBE with the Stainless Works.

Starter and SW long tubes are already on car... Arp stage 8 locking header bolts were used.

90 degree angle is key to fitting around the front crossmember.... well that and a little grinding to get off the casting edge and then retampered it...

Awesome looking oil pan!!! :bows:
Does it use the OEM dipstick?
I might need to look into one of those in the near future...what did that set you back?

the dipstick was a marauder or a mustang cobra one... we had both and went with whichever one had the large dia pipe. and then cut the metal shrouding covering the end of the dipstick off.... we custom bent it stligthly to maximize pickup.... we did this by dry fitting the pan and oil pick up on.... and use playdough on the end of the oil pick up to gauge depth from bottom of the pan...

Can i buy the stainless work headers separately or am i forced to buy the WHOLE exhaust kit? I already have my exhaust work done and just want ONLY the headers.

Very nice work and a beautiful job but what is the need for 1.5 more quarts when 6.5 quarts seem to work OK??
My stock pan and remote filter with FL-1A requires about 7 quarts to fill....

The new pan not only increases the amount of oil held in pan but also has the race baffling install arounf the oil pickup area...
This doe some major oil control by way of one-way trap doors...

The one on the block should be turned around. The 4 nut holes should be forward and the rest should go to the back of the motor. It does fit both ways go figure.
Like this. If you look the way the scrapers are mounted in the stock pan then on your tray in the block they are different ways. I just hope the motor isn't in the car already. Hope I got to this post in time.

I hope u somehow looked at this issuse incorrectly... cuz yes I did get car and new exhaust w/ headers on and in the car....
does anyone see this.... am i in need on pullin gthe motor to make a simple stupid correction that i should have picked up the first time...?
Um, if you guys went through all that trouble to build a pan with hinged doors, then put the windage tray on wrong, Id say it should be corrected.
Quite honestly it is not even necessary unless you plan on using the car for extreme use on a cornering track.

Ya the motor is gonna be pulled and the windage tray will be corrected...
But it needs to be modified becuase if you look at the pictures the pickup on our car mounts to the last main on the windage tray and not the middle main on the windage tray....
Hence why we mounted it as such.... it sux the motor needs to be pulled again but it needs to happen.
And yes we don't really drag race...
We take the car to pocono international receway and run a modified track...
We do the front straight, first corner, back stright, then a 210degree corener to run the inside sicanes back to the front straight...
