Question about remote start..

I've always wanted remote start on one of my vehicles.. But I don't want some POS aftermarket remote. Now I see Ford is integrating remote start into their keyless entry systems.. Would I be able to buy an after market remote start and then get a Ford factory keyless entry remote and program that to work?

My aftermarket remote looks and works better than the factory one.
