Put $0 down and took it out for 84 months. I got it for $28,300 plus taxes and all that stuff. Ended up financing roughly $30,500. Payments are $447.51. I like the flexability since I'm in sales and work almost completely off commissions. If I have a bad month, I pay the minimum. If I have a good month, I pay more. Got it at 5.9%.

:) I am paying cash for my Marauder, i.e. 60 payments at zero percent interest. Zero percent is pretty easy - take your total cost and divide by the number of payments.

I traded in my 2000 Taurus that I owed more than was worth, plus added Gap insurance on my loan. I decided against financing ESP, even though it was zero percent, figuring I will buy it in the Spring and pay cash.

My payments are $89 a month more than I was paying on my Taurus, and I financed that car through Ford Credit at a very reasonable 4.9% back in 2000.

I gave the dealer $23,000 cash money and an 8 yr old Jeep Grand Cherokee; he gave me the keys and free carwashes on Saturday mornings.
