Hooked up with Illss today, to pick up some MM items he donated .
He let me drive his 2006 SRT-8 Charger .

His car is impressive, seats are much more supportive on the lats.
Sound is very low and Monsterative!
I do like the ability to tip shift but I can see it does take practice to master fully.
Feels every bit as fast as the MM, especially if the driver has some skillz.
Looking forward to lining up next to it at the drag strip.
My best guess is, I will take him to 60' and he will take me by 2-3 tenths.
Thanks Pal!

Bradley, you will smoke him the whole track with your car...I have yet to see an SRT 8 do well at the track.

The Charger is a small car though. You might as well be comparing it to a Mustang or a Vette.

It may be smaller but weights almost what our cars do.

I love your assurance Tom, Joshs' Charger dynoed 400 after the CAI and tune.
My car is 370-380
His car also has me beat in weight.
It going to be an interesting season.

Hey Bradley....are the shifts firm or sloppy??

ALL Chrysler products have "Torque Management" which turns the ignition of for a microsecond during shifts to protect the drive train.....will probably cost him a second on the 1320??:D

The shifts are not as head snapping as the Marauder I drive, but after it does shift it's a monster!
I did not feel anything sloppy about the way it drove.
If I was not still so head over heels over the MM, I would consider a SRT-8
Josh said, The Predator tuner allows adjustment parameters with the torque management.

I thought JonW had said NO ONE has mastered a tune yet for the SRT's because Chrysler has some sort of "mystery" code on them.

I read a while back they finally cracked the PCM.
Now there are blowers and other enhancemence available.
