Now I have een wondering. My Neighbour has his Murceilago LP640 Roadster, Monster loud car. And it has specs that say it goes 0-60 MPH in 3.2 Seconds. BUt it has a noted Quarter mile of 11.8 Seconds. So If a Marauder SC will do a 11 or less 1/4 Mile. How fast is it 0-60MPH?

Fill in the blanks and wonder.

Lambo 0-60 3.2 seconds.
Bugatti 0-60 3.x seconds.

Marauder 0-60 x.x seconds?

This was talked about a while back. Seems there was a calculator out there with 0-60 times based on 1/8 mile times and 1/8 mile trap speeds. I seem to recall mine at 3.7 and I verified a 3.8 with my Aeroforce gauges. I think MarauderTJA's 0-60 worked out to like 3.2!

So other than top speed then, the Marauder SC is a Super car!

Anyone ever try to unlock the speed limiter, put in a new drive shaft and upgrade everything and see how fast it really can go?

Maybe a Salt flat run is in order sometime.

There was another thread somewhere with such speculation about a salt flats car. Something about complete under-body panning and REALLY tall gears. I guess no one has wanted to give up a Marauder to such a purpose-built endeavor!

And yes, many SC marauders post times in supercar territory. Just take some of the timeslip page info an find that 0-60 calculator!

According to my trans ratio spreadsheet on SSM.net, a 3.55 geared car with stock tires will top out at a theoretical non-wind-resisted 208! 4.10's at 180!

T#1 time from SSHS7 was 10.31 @ 131 MPH. Not sure whether Martyo has posted a better time since then with Legal Kneivel.

Most of the "supercars" are not built for the 1/4 mile. I think that this was demonstrated best a couple years ago (2005? 2006?) when some MMs went up against the Ford GT supercar at Milan Dragway in Michigan. There are videos around somewhere. I seem to recall the best time for the Ford GT was about 11.8 and the MM had him by 0.2-0.3 second at the finish line. However, the trap speeds show that the Ford GT was flying at nearly 135 MPH and passed the MM shortly after crossing the line. So, it was the MM in the 1320' and the Ford GT around 1350-1400'.
