Well, the AVIC D3 is installed and I love it... but I can't pair my Palm Centro with it. It finds the device, but when I try to connect I get "connection error".
I also tried pairing it with my Treo 755p, but it didn't even find it. I'm not sure if that's because it is already paired with another bluetooth headset or not.
Has anyone been able to pair their Palm phone with this unit? If so, any tips?
Thanks,
Daniel

I am having the same problem with my Treo 755P. It sees it but will not pair. Our smart phones are too smart I guess for the D3. There is suppose to be a patch coming out from Jetware (??) to fix the problem so I am told by my audio guy.
Try www.jetwaremobile.com (http://www.jetwaremobile.com) for updates. You are supposed to be able to try the update out for free. www.avic411.com (http://www.avic411.com) is another place to try.

There has been much talk lately about Bluetooth version compatibility...

Unfortunately, Jetware is only for Windows Mobile based phones. Mine is a Centro (Treo) which is PalmOS.

Did you go to the AVic411 and check there /If you can not find it there post about the problem and see what they have to say.
