Not a bad idea for the dragstrip.

Has anyone thought of doing a ram air pickup in the right corner of the front grill? my thoughts are that it would be behind the first 5 bars of the drivers side grill and it would take some fab work to run the hose and a custom air box.

That's a two edged sword,it'd be fine as long as you never have to drive in the rain.

I even got an idea for a cover in the rain.

So did you just take the headlight out?

I had an HID conversion kit in my marauder and I didn't like it so when I switched it back to normal superbowl weekend I snapped a pick cuz I noticed that the hole for the headlight to mount into was right in front of my CAI and would push in that nice cold fresh air! So yeah... I just removed the headlight assembly... three bolts and it is out... just have to losen up the two bolts for the corner marker as well to slide it out! Pretty slick looking too... very old school!
