Some one please define this.
I was under the impression that our cars already have one....

Not sure what the question is....
Maybe this answers the ???
Our cars have the same engine as the Mach1. It is almost the same as the '99-'01 Cobra. It is not the same as the '03-'04 Cobra.

Captain,
From what I hear, ours are actually the same as the Mach 1 engine. The COBRA engines are fitted with forged internals (vs. our cast internals) Forged is MUCH stonger and will handle boost.
Not sure, but I think the COBRA block has extra webbing as well, for added strength. The Marauder engine is different than the COBRA engine.
The major differences are in the short block of the 03-04 Cobra iron block.
Forged 8 bolt crank with 2 bolt main caps
Forged Mahle pistons
Manley H-Beam rods
ARP rod fasteners
Iron block
Hand assembled low production motor
Some of the other differences are:
Timing cover
Oil pan and pickup tube
Chain tensioner guide stud
Oil cooler
Crank Harmonic Balancer
Valve Covers
Pulleys
Supercharger assembly and related parts
Exhaust manifolds
Wiring harness

Also, the '03-04 S/C Cobra blocks are cast iron, Marauder & the older, non S/C Cobra engines are aluminum.
OOPS.....Never mind, merc's got it covered...

Thankyou Sir Merc
An excellant response. Very professional. Was going to buy those snake emblems but now I know better. Perhaps a pair of fake air vents, I hear they are all the rage. Actually wish they made a real one. Better than pulling out a headlight.

MACH 1 uses a Ram Air hood and scoop system...
Not sure how effective it is but its there and functional....
