Sal, glad to read that your brother survived!
You mentioned "when he recovers", what were his injuries?

BTW, Len A.K.A. onebadlse was just trying to sell his (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=41403).

wow... glad he is ok.

what a beautiful GM he had too. best of luck getting the $$ together to get him another one.

you got to watch out for the cows. while driving in Nebraska we always watch for the Bison walking around.

Wow glad he's OK Sal. I remember the first time you posted pictures of that, it was flawless. ts-pa, his brother wants another aero, not a newer body style.

Well, yeah I'd say he definately has some beef with the cow owner now.
I thought maybe the cow would have survived, because he does have spare ribs. Thats definately a scratch too big to hide. That car was not hamburger helper. Shoud I keep going?

Glad to hear your brother is ok

Glad your brother is OK. We see a lot of crash pics, but not often do we see the deformation of the cabin as we do in that one. Must have been like hitting concrete.

Sal, very glad to here your brother is alright. Very sorry to see that car gone. That car was as close to a Marauder in looks and spirit as anyone was going to get starting out with an older GM! It was the inspiration for me to remove the mufflers on my car - loved that sound!
I hope he finds an even better one to replace it.

OMG! Sal, i was mortified when i saw these pics. I dont know how he survived. But God, and the black panther protected him. Send my regards.

Did he walk away from it (literally)? Hardly can see how, that would be something if he did.

A broken nose, a few lacerations, and some misc bruises. He'll be sore for a while, and that's about it.

Wow, glad he made it out ok. Sucks to see that car go. I remember seeing and hearing it a few times at your shop.

If you stayed in NY you wouldn't have to worry about a bunch of cow's wondering out in the road!
BTW, Where the hell did you move out to that cows just roam around like deers?

He is OK. Fantastic !
CV, MGM and Tcar are the ONLY cars (sold in northern america) that gained 5 stars at ALL crash tests, as quoted from Consumers Report.

I agree with the above, 5 Star rating, and God saved his life. We are all glad he is OK, and can again drive with confidence, in our cars. It's hell to see one of our own hurt, and never want to see it again. Though I will show this to my wife, .

I hear you moved to Fla. Good Luck.

Nobody has said it yet .... so I will --* Holy Cow !!!!!

Looks like the cow was walking directly toward or away from the car based on the damage and roof indentation. That may have made the difference. Glad your brother is OK.

I think you're trying to milk this thread for everything its got.

Too bad about buddy's GM, but at least he survived. I've seen examples of smaller cars and trucks hitting moose and other big animals and it's often not pretty for the occupants.

SO glad your Bro's O.K. I about creamed a pair of REINDEER last night on patrol, gawd those things are big (and no one in a red suit nearby). I hear in Canada there is a Moose Problem, hitting one of those can be fatal.

It's an incredibly tough platform, the newer ones even tougher.

Glad your brother is relatively OK.
