We talked about this, and I honestly feel the Novi kit is making more power at less boost, so the easiest up grade would be to go to a 3.48 or a 3.33 Pulley, this would put the car well at 450 plus RWHP this car has 85 K on the clock so I think he is very happy where he is at. And we sold another kit today. I am offering free shipping the rest of the month.

'Sup, Blair?! Fellow REAL car guy with a BRAND tattoo!!!!

Dennis, I DO believe the Novi flows more than Procharger at 8 PSI. That or maybe my tune just sucks. You'll get you hands on it an know for sure soon enough!!!

If anyone askes me the novi kit is the only way to go, I have been fighting myself for 2 years wanting the trilogy kit and saving to buy one. I got the car in Feb 2006 and have been researching the options since. I happened to be only an hour away from Reinhart's and could not resist. I am very happy with the whole set up. The novi kit is the best bang for the buck and if you can have Dennis install it, that's perfection. The car has exceeded all of my expectations, I am actually getting a bit better fuel economy as well. The whistle is very quiet and low and I drive this car daily. The only thing I need to do in the future is go to those hancook wider rears and maybe a smaller pully once I am used to the blower. I would watch out for the Granatelli coils though, but I will let Dennis handle that.

I am sorry to say I have now had two cars with issues after installing the Granatelli coils, the cars break up and developed a miss, Zack told me the DOHC Mustang guys have also had issues, so I am going to contact them, and see what they have to say, other than this the car is perfect, and it developed this issue after leaving here, but was cured as soon as John put the stock coils back. I recommend NGK TR6 at .35 that was what was in there, and it is what we liked yo use on the DOHC SC cars.

Vindication....

My Granatelli's caused a miss as well. Posted it but no-one believed me. Went back to stock. All better.

Im glad you took my advice!

Dennis has come full circle with the kit and really is the best for the car based on power and price

On my N/A car I just did the solid Granatelli coil connectors, not the coil packs themselves. There is no issues with just the connectors correct?

Tnx.

Yes, thanks for the advice Zack. I appreciate it.

And again, THANKS VERY MUCH to Dennis.

As far as the coils go, I think the wire kit would be fine, but I am going to leave well enough alone. The car runs awsome as is with the stock coils and they are all still clean and no issues with 85k on the car.

I'll check the special, but offhand how much is the Novi kit? Does anyone know if I can have it on the car out here? I think I already know the answer...

I think Dennis was talking about the coils themselves. The Granatelli connctors are just solid as opposed to the springy OEM things.

Yes, but the coils COME WITH the connectors. I got a hunch the GMS coils would work with OEM connectors.

The problem with the GMS connectors seems to me to be assembly. The ends didn't feel crimped on good enough and there were blueish-black arcing marks on them when I took them out.

Swell.

I don't know. I coated the new solid connectors with the dielectric gel and popped them on. Went to take one off a few minutes later to check something and it was a bear to get off, it was on there so tight. Maybe it was just some of them? I have them on Denso IT-20's.

But your hunch makes sense to me. The major difference between the two assemblies seems to be the conncectors...

And I see DR's price is just about $4K for this Novi kit. Lot's more research to do. Everyone tells me about 50-state legal SC kits. but I've never seen one. My brother-in-law here in CA put an SC on his Mustang and loved it, a Whipple I think, but a year later he had to park it as it wouldn't pass smog.

Sold the car out of state and bought a new Saleen instead. Nice to have $...

First I was unsure of what set up I should go with. I spoke to several people and I got the impression that the centrifugal was the way to go. I sat quietly reading the posts and decided that Dennis was the way to go. GREAT DECISION!!!!!

After speaking to Dennis there was a couple of things that I wanted to do and had the funds to do it. The SC’r (Air to Air kit), 4.10 gears, rear sway bar, progard skid plate, Mez. water pump, and all the gauges is what I decided to do. So I gave him the GO AHEAD! I drove from Tampa to Orange Park, FL to drop off my car. My car was now about to get the upgrade that it should have came with. I got to meet Dennis and Jackie. They are both AWESOME People! I got to look around the shop and ask TONS of questions.
I bugged Dennis a couple of times during the process (sorry man). Dennis being the gracious guy he is let me in on a little bit of bad or unsettling news. My rear axels were shot and needed to be replaced. I asked him if he had any of the 31 spline in stock and he did. Again I said DO IT. An upgrade is always better! J

After a litter over a week, (There was no rush. I was on Vacation) the car was ready. So again I made the trip up north. BEAUTIFUL DAY!!! We took my car out for a ride did some minor shift point tweaking, and BSing. And I was soon on my way 433HP Max and 394.18 Torque! MAN OL MAN! I went to all of my friends houses. They absolutely loved it! My car is AWESOME and the expertise that Dennis showed is unmatched.

For all of you contemplating on what to do and where to go Dennis is your man!

Dennis thanks for answering my questions knowing that I know minimal(not a gearhead, but I do love the power) and doing a fabulous job on my car. I’m confident in saying that you will definitely get my repeat business.

Thanks again and Keep in touch.

I still have a little time but i was wondering if you can explain/outline (hopefully with pictures :D) the process of changing the oil in the SC'r. specifically, getting to the fill screw.

Also, removing the SC'r everytime can be a pain, could an adapter possibly be made for this set up?

The drain is already on the bottom of the blower.

The process is this:
Drain Oil
Refill
Check oil level
Done

Steve I will take pictures, you will have to loosen the cross over tube to get to fill cap, or loosen the blower up to move it forward just a bit.

TR6 are one heat range cooler, I thought I read somewhere that 2 ranges cooler than stock was used in SC applications?
