I just wanted to let everyone know that Jessica started having contractions this morning 45 minutes apart.

Tonight at this time we are 12-15 minutes apart.

I finally drove in from Columbus and will be staying close from here on out.

It's almost BABY time!

Our first, GAGE, seems to have little trouble with handling himself.

If this this is a girl, we like Elliot.

If it's a boy...I'm happy...but screwed for name as of yet. :thinker:

I went through tons of names. I named my girl Jamie, cuz at that point in my life I had never met a Jamie I didn't like - no bad vibes. It's a name she can buy stuff for. Ambiguous, maybe - but she's tuff!!!!

I just got off the phone w/ Barry, and he said I could post up :D

Jess delivered a Happy, Healthy :baby: at about 10:20 this morning!

:baby: weighed in at 6 pounds, and 18" long.

Since I popped the spoiler.... Barry can drop the sex of the 'lil un! :D

Yep, yesterday ..... I was there for all of my kids .. now 30, 27, 24, AND 6 months*.

Names are tough...:confused:

If this this is a girl, we like Elliot.

Don't think I have ever heard of a girl named 'Elliot". Nice name; but I suspect that she'll spend the rest of her life explaining.

Thanks everyone!

Jessica had a GIRL this morning.
She was a real trooper and delivered naturally.
The bad labor lasted 2 hours, and the finale only 15 minutes of utter screaming and near removal of my hand.

Baby and J and doing wonderfull. Baby is already breast feeding.
I have been uo since Tuesday morning and drove in late last night when contractions were still 15 minutes apart.

The name isn't set in stone, but we were fond of Elliot.
She is small, being 3.5 weeks early at 6lbs, but was marked a 9 out of 10 on her first physical examination.

She is actually as quiet as a mouse. The nurse was poking and prodding at this time.

We used to watch the show SCRUBS.

There was a nurse on there named Eliott.
We came to like it.

Gage didn't go over so well in the beginning with a lot of folks either, but that has worked out.

It's not set in stone.

We have until Friday morning to make a decision.
Trouble is, many of the names we like, Jessica's friends, and many of Gage's friends at school have that name as well.
That association kinda freaks her out.

We had boy names ready to go. :rolleyes:

She still has on and off blotching in the face, which is normal, but when she doesn't, she sure is starting to cuten up!

There will be a lot of changes over the next few days and weeks.
I am so proud of this little one.
