When i launched the car i pretty much just held the brake on and brought the rpms up to about 2 grand and just let floored it from there.I just let the computer do everything. The car did not like to manual shift at all.I have to send out a big thanks to Mr.Reinhart for the awsome upgrades that i got for the car.

greggstr,
This just goes to show how expensive it is to get small increases in ET & MPH once you have done the chip .
I have 4:10's you have 4:30's
No Pulleys Pullys
No Denso Denso
Stock Exhaust Flowmasters

My best was 14.870 @ 94.71 MPH with a .559 reaction time.
I tried to manual shift on one run....fagetaboutit.
I got carried away on a run where I just beat the car I was about to run again. I did too much of a brakestand and smoked the tires off the line. I got spanked.

I'll be going back when the weather gets cooler using 94 octane instead of 93 and Denso plugs.
:D :D

Thanks for the info. What exactly didn't the car like about manual shifting? Did it behave weird or was it just a matter of getting worse times by manual shifting versus letting it shift for itself?

On my stocker, I found the best results were with a manual 1-2 shift at ~5700-5800 RPM, and immediately afterward just putting it into D for the rest of the ride (OD on or off, no difference).
