First off this was the Blazer not the Marauder. My truck was parked outside my apartment last night around 11:30pm and when I stepped out around 10am this morning it was gone. The truck is a 1990 Chevrolet K5 Blazer as you probably know and it is silver with silver interior. It's a clean machine and has a huge Ramones decal on the rear window in white lettering and Not For Sale signs on the right and left rear passenger windows. When I last parked it, it was missing the header plugs because I didn't finish changing the gaskets from the day before.... so this beast is loud! It's running 350hp with no mufflers right now. It's probably still here in Chicago and these trucks are known gangbanger trucks.

If you have any information at all please call me no matter what time it is. I would love to find it rather than collect the insurance money. My number is (312) 925-8699. Look at the picture below. It looks just like that, but my wheels are stock and not black.

None of the yuppies in my area heard anything and when I filed the police report there were no noise complaints in my area last night. Plus no glass was found by the area. I checked with towing companies and the city of Chicago towing.... no one has it. :mad2:

Hope you find your truck Dom. Are you sure that you don't owe tickets on it and it got towed?

Doctor?? Mess with my car and you will need a surgeon and a plastic surgeon to reposition the guys face.

If you owe tickets here in the city you get booted for 2 or 3 days before they tow it away. I checked and I do not owe anything to the city for tickets.

Steve the Marauder payments were not my responsibility they were daddys, everything is fine and the car is paid off. Now I pay for everything except the insurance. Also I was laughing at this too... I pretty much pulled a Big Lebowski and said "Fu*k it man let's go bowling." Then I said "eat" but didn't eat till much later.

I forgot to mention the license plate is BG TONKA with IL plates. I've had this truck since I was 6, I am now 22 and this is really hitting me hard. Thanks again.

Just checkin on the $$$.... You DID post up issues.... So, I was just checkin....

Honestly, being in Chicago, I would chalk your Blazer up as a loss. Time to look for another, or take the ins $$$ for you Project Truck.

Sorry to hear it Dom. But based on your mentioning the 'Christine' nature of the Blazer, I'm sure whoever took it will pay

Dom, today I drove by and your truck was right on Belden and Racine. This was at 11:30 this morning. You were 4 cars behind a POS fairlane.

That does indeed suck.

Even around here we have had issues...even though you have never been around here to realize how wierd that is.

I have had cars broken into and stripped...twice...so I know the feeling of insult.

That particular truck is very popular across the US...you really should have taken some time to secure it. I realize that is an after thought, but a hidden kill switch of your own accord would have taken minites to install and foiled any thug with a screw driver.

Thanks for the information man. Now I know when to look at security cameras from the guys house it was parked by. He said I could look at his tapes tomorrow, now I know it was between 11:30-2pm. Thanks man that helped a lot! I'll have a lot less footage to go through.

I was driving for hours looking tonight and even asking cops in different districts. Went to some really bad areas too where gangs use those trucks far south of me.

Security camera's are great. A GPS low jack kind of system is better.
A bomb with a 20 mile radius detonator is best of all. (Smoke bomb if you want it back, other if you do not)

Or the door locks lock, and won't unlock, and a voice from the dash says 'Detonation in ....'

Well things are looking better. I got these guys on video and they stole it at 12:04pm and the pulled up in a car. I have the discription of the car and the people. I have to go to another place across the street and ask for more footage to get the license plate number of the car the theves pulled up in, when I get that it'll be jail time for quite a few people and it might actually be connected to a co-worker, but I'm not jumping to conclusions.

With a little more work I'll have this back with pretty much no help from the police. Again the key to life is to do it yourself. I'm going to watch The Punisher now. :uzi:

good news Dom.
Hope you can get that plate number.

I wonder if the local NEWS would like to have the footage of a car theft in progress?

Nice hustle. I had an 85 Cutlass stolen from my apt parking lot on the north side of Milwaukee in 2005. Filing the police was little more than a formality, and I didn't get my hopes up about getting it back, although I didn't love that car like I think you love your Blazer. Don't go too far without the police; if these guys are willing to take your car by force, they may be willing to take more.. Be Careful.
