I ran 12.98 today, with the damn tracking control on, O/D on and my buddy in the car. My first run ever. Not bad.....

Next time, T/C off, O/D off, buddy out of the car, and a much better tune.

2ndMDRebel ran an 11.75@111 in his CrownRauder -- first run and blew the engine.

He didn't blew up, he locked up. The result's might be the same depending on the damage.

I had no clue something happened to the car, I saw it on the flatbed rolling out and just thought he was towing it home, that sucks.

I am going to try and come again and probably run my drag radials and still that that makes any difference. Anyone have a trunk that I could borrow if your not racing to store my rear stockers and jack in while I am racing?

Capital raceway eh? I am in springfield, VA. That must be one of the closer 1/4 mile tracks to me? I am newish to the area so I have not been to a track yet out here.

I might go run the MM just to shake the jitters from having not been down a 1/4 in probably 2 years. The MM is my slow car in the garage, I'd like to get my other project down the track soon too, but maybe the MM will eek out a super high 14, w/ 3.73s and a DR tune being the only mods? I bet it runs a 15.0 just to spite me.

I ran at best 13.1 could have done better. I got a few toys on the way that when all finish should get me in the mid to low 12's.
