I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this site is. It has been wonderful to make friends all over North America and beyond. This, however, unexpectedly takes the cake.
Saturday, I get a package from OCHS. I'm thinking 'what the hell is OCHS?!' and I didn't order anything!
Inside are two beautiful Marauder checkered flag fender badges and a printed PM. Local Boy, who won these in the raffle had Marty send them to me. Included in the message were some very nice remarks.
I've been getting to know Randy by trying to help him best as I can with the used kit he got from Jarod. If he were here, in FL, I'd be at his house, but alas, he's on the island with no support - so I try my best.
Over time, I have really made some very good friends. Some of whom I have never seen and may never see. It is AMAZING how this car and this site can bring folks together.
Mahalo, my brother, from the howley, Randy.

 Randy is indeed a great guy. Probably one of the nicest guys I have ever talked too. I told him if I ever go down to the islands, I want a ride in his car lol.

I couldn't agree with you more, Rich.
BTW, in some parts of Georgia, it is pronounced "Ouch". There is a source to this somewhere.

I agree. Just passed my 4th anniversary on this site at the end of February. Can't remember what I use to do for S&G before the MM and MM.Net. Now the calendar is full til the end of the year. :D

Rich, I swear, has a "Hawaiian Heart"... I can feel it from thousands of miles away...Soooo, VERY COOOOOL!!! That's why I call him my "White Hawaiian"
friend...:D This guy speaks Hawaiian for goodness sake...:2thumbs:
Being in the middle of the pacific, alone, puts me in a very vulnerable positon, when modding my car...
I look to all of you for support and guidance, and 'am fully aware that I could not do this without this great site and the fine people who contribute thier knowledge, time, and $$$...
I intend to make a monetary contribution to this site, in an effort to give back...it is the least I can do...
Thanks for all the good words guys...That was very nice to see...
I remain forever grateful, to have such great friends...
Aloha a hui hou...T'ill we meet again...

When you have great weather and a beautiful atmosphere, nice people come from that... unlike place up north here where everyone is a-holes!!! Thanks for all the help you have provided me and I am honored to our this vehicle and be a part of this site with such great guys!!!!

Rich,
One day you'll have to see Hawaii for yourself. I was there is '89 and it is like nothing else. The plane trip is a beotch but worth it.

Yea, my Dad was stationed for a few months there back in the late 70's, when he was released, he decided to go back and stay for a few years since it was so nice. He keeps telling me, me and my g/f have to go.

My father was stationed out there too in '67. The apartment complex in Aeia where my parents lived became the parking lot for the Rose Bowl.

Yeah, that would be a damn long trip from Florida....only 5 hours from the West Coast though...

This is true. My flight started in Ft Lauderdale, went to Dallas, then to Honolulu. The latter flight was 14 hours long.
