I don't know why I didn't notice this sooner but there is no ABS light visible when I turn the key to the START position, I don't even recall the ABS system working at all when I made some emergency stops over some icy conditions. I checked the power distribution box for Fuse # 106 & 118 both are in the right home but I just wanted to know if there is a way to check if the Maxi fuses are any good or is it possible that the sensors aren't working properly, I would like to troubleshoot this on my own before I bring it to the stealership, thx everyone.

Take the car to a empty parking lot and slam the brakes down to see it anti-lock activates. If it does then maybe just the bulb is out, if she locks the brakes then a trip to the dealer may be necc.

Well my anti lock brakes don't work, looks like a trip to dealership, did several hard braking stops and there was no sign of the ABS working at all.

By hard braking do you mean just pressing harder, anti-locks need a sudden hard slam on the brake pedal.

drove to 30 MPH and slammed them, did it several times, no sign of anti lock

I would then agree, it's time for some dealer help.

Sounds strange. If there is a problem with the ABS then the light should be on.

Unless the light bulb is burnt out ontop of the anti lock system issue...either way looks like a trip to Ford next week.
